    Co-Founder/ Senior Head Coach

    Essien Mubanga is the senior head coach and co-founder of Central City Football Academy. With extensive experience, he designs the training programs, oversees coaching operations, and mentors the academy's players and staff. His leadership has been instrumental in the academy's rise as a top destination for football talent development.



  • Suwilanji Sichilongo

    U19s Head Coach

    Suwilanji Sichilongo leads the Under-19 team, focusing on preparing players for high-level competition. His tactical knowledge, motivational approach, and commitment to player development help young athletes refine their skills and transition to professional opportunities.



  • Sidney Phiri

    U17s Head Coach

    Sidney Phiri is responsible for coaching the Under-17 team, focusing on bridging the gap between youth and senior football. He emphasizes player discipline, advanced tactical understanding, and teamwork to prepare his players for competitive matches and their future careers.



  • Abraham Phiri

    U15s/U11s Head Coach

    Abraham Phiri manages the Under-15 and Under-11 teams, fostering growth at two key stages of player development. His coaching approach focuses on building strong technical skills, encouraging creativity, and instilling a passion for football in every player.

    U13s/U9s Head Coach

    Lawrence Ngongo oversees the youngest age groups, the Under-13 and Under-9 teams. His nurturing coaching style helps young players develop foundational skills, confidence, and a love for the game. Lawrence’s patience and expertise ensure that every child begins their football journey on the right path.

    Girls Team Head Coach

    Andrew Esau is the creative director behind Central City's media strategy. As head photographer and media manager, he captures and shares the academy's journey, building its brand through engaging content and visuals.     Club Administrator

    Coach Elizabeth plays a vital role as the club’s administrator. She oversees the onboarding of players into the academy, manages financial records, tracks payments, and ensures smooth daily operations. Her organizational skills and dedication keep the academy running efficiently, supporting players, coaches, and management in achieving their goals.
